New Location! We are excited to announce that we have moved to a new location in Pedasi. Our new school is on the way to the popular beach El Arenal with the same great staff. Come visit us soon!
Buena Vida Language School is located in a little fishing village of Pedasi, on the coast of the Azuero Peninsula – a big piece of land that hangs off of Panama’s Pacific Coast. Since we are right on the tip of the Peninsula, we are surrounded by beaches that line the Golf of Panama and the Pacific Ocean. This area is known as the driest in Panama, we have long sunny summers and mildly rainy winters.
Even though Pedasi is off the beaten path of most travelers’ itineraries, it is very easy to get here and you have several options for how to do so.

By bus: You can take a bus from Panama City at the Albrook Terminal and use this site as a scheduling guide. You will most likely have to switch buses in Chitre (an hour from Pedasi), or Las Tablas (a half an hour from Pedasi). The whole journey can take between five to six hours. Once you arrive in Pedasi, you can be dropped off at the main bus stop (near the Mayor’s Office, and only a few blocks down from the school).
By car: You can rent a car in Panama City, or even at Tocumen, the International Airport where you will arrive. The drive will take you about 4 to 5 hours. If you need driving directions from Panama City or recommendations on car rental companies, please let us know, we are happy to help.
By flight: Air Panama has flights from Albrook Regional Airport in Panama City on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The flights leave Panama City around 3 pm, and Pedasi around 4 pm. The flight is 40 minutes and costs around $99 one way.
