Home Stays With A Local Family
Our homestay option is best if you are looking for a total immersion into Spanish and Panamanian culture. We have hand-picked the loveliest families in Pedasí to be certain that they will shower you with their legendary Panamanian hospitality. What is included in the homestay option:
- We thoughtfully choose homes for all of our students based on their needs and preferences.
- Your host family will provide you with a local style breakfast each morning.
- You will have a private bedroom with a desk for studying.
- You have access to a shared kitchen, bathroom, and living area.
Cost of the homestay option is $15 a day, which goes directly to your homestay family. Pedasi Spanish School charges a $30 placement fee each student who would like to stay with a local family.
Panamanians live happily in very basic conditions. That means most likely they don’t have hot water, screens on their windows, fancy furniture, or well-lit houses. If you know that you aren’t prepared to live comfortably in conditions like these, it may be better for you to take a look at the other accommodations that we have in Pedasí.
